Traditional Gravesites

St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries offers a variety of options for in-ground burial. A ‘single’ gravesite for upright memorialization can accommodate three (3) traditional burials, and while concrete or metal vaults/liners can be used, they are not required.

The purchase of all sites include Endowed Care which provides for the future care of the site without the need for any future care charges. Such care includes seeding, trimming and mowing of the gravesite. [Monuments and plantings are the responsibility of plot holders.]

Holy Innocents

A Special Place for God’s Little Angels
Who Have Been Called to His Kingdom

A Prayer for a Deceased Child

Father, we entrust to you this child whom you have loved so much in this life.

Welcome this child into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

Amen.

To accommodate the needs of families who have suffered the devastating loss of an infant or child, we are able to offer individual infant and children’s gravesites in the HOLY INNOCENTS area located within Section 041 of St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.

Believing that life exists from the moment of conception, these gravesites also provide for the dignified interment of a fetus or a stillborn.

Such gravesites offer solace and give witness to our belief concerning the human life that was possessed by those “children of God” interred here.

The HOLY INNOCENTS area has a four-sided shrine of “Christ with Children”. Each grave provides for one interment where materials utilized may not exceed five feet in length and no more than twenty-two inches in width. The grave will be marked with an eloquent bronze flat marker set on a granite base, supplied by the cemetery, and selected by the family from the three choices offered. The cost of the grave, grave opening and memorialization is set at an affordable price.

Let the little children be, and do not hinder them from coming to Me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
